Aged 60 days, this semi-soft, washed-rind, farm cheese is made with pasteurized milk. Its delicate aroma and flavours of fruit and roasted peanuts are what makes it unique and highly prized. Its washed rind results from a lengthy washing and rubbing process allowing the flavour to develop from the outside in.
Its name is inspired by Mont Jacob, a mountain across from the cheese shop, near downtown Jonquière. The area attracts nature lovers because of its nature paths and culture buffs on account of its cultural exhibition centre.

Sold in ~100g portions. If you'd like more than 100g, add another to your cart. Whatever amount you choose, we'll default to cutting you a single large piece of cut cheese, not multiple 100g wedges.
