Ziibaakdakaan, which is Ojibwe for "Sugarbush", is 100% pure Ontario wood fired maple syrup made by the Chippewas of Nawash on the same land in Cape Croker (about 45 minutes up the Bruce Peninsula from our shop in Owen Sound) that they have been making syrup for centuries. Today, Ziibaakdakaan Maple is providing employment opportunities for community members, reviving their traditions, and sharing their heritage through their delicious maple syrup.
In their first ever entry in the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair's Maple Syrup competition, Ziibaakdakaan won three top ten finishes!
