The Milk Maid is a fine cheese & gourmet food shop and bistro in the heart of the River District in downtown Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. We have a wide selection of local and imported cheeses, cured meats, gourmet pantry items, preserves, chocolates, wine, beer & cider and more. We offer fully licensed table service for cheese & charcuterie boards, sandwiches, salads, soups, baked goods and other light fare. We offer custom made gift baskets, gift cards, and have a variety of gorgeous cheese & charcuterie platters to order for your next event.

Meet the Owners

Hello! We are Sarah and Robin Miller, new owners of The Milk Maid, as of June 2023. We are living our best life in beautiful Owen Sound with our two amazing daughters. After many years in the restaurant and retail space, we are SO excited and honored to be shepherding in the next era of The Milk Maid, originally founded by Jen Smith in 2015 and masterfully continued by Cody Hay since 2017.
